We are officially past the singular words and into the double word phrases! Hadley's voice is so cute and she says a new word (or two) every day. It's pretty exciting to listen to her put words together and learn to communicate. She's definitely growin' up!
Mommy do it, bunny gone, Elmo cakes, Hadley's snacks, Go Blue!, Mickey - Minnie, Elmo balloons, Daddy's boat, Mama's house, fries - juice, Mommy's shoes, food cheese, all gone, Daddy hugs, baby kiss, rain side, nite boom, kitty shirt, Lilah's house - just to name a few...
Hadley is also doing quite a few cute things lately. She loves to dance and puckers her lips, points her fingers in the air and grooves. She's mastered the pajama jam with Mickey! She calls Dora, Jodie. We think it's because they look alike. We've tried to teach her Dora's correct name, but she just doesn't listen and that's okay because it's cute! Uncle Zeb taught her how to do the monkey face, so we see that a lot when she's goofing around. We can't drive by McDonald's without hearing fries - juice. (thanks mama :) She likes to take her "friends" to bed, so every night we round up about four or five stuffed animals and dolls to accompany her. She likes to take her stroller with her baby in it when we go somewhere. She pushes her just like a big girl and receives lots of compliments, especially from elderly ladies. She laughs at lots of things and says, "funny!" which makes Austin and I laugh too!
I'm sure there are a million other cute things that she does, but those are just a few.
Oh how we love our little girl!
