Sittin' UP High!

Hadley sat in her new high chair for the first time today.  She got it for Christmas from Grandpa Mark and Grandma Kim.  She sat on the other side of the sink and watched mommy do dishes...how exciting, right?

What was that?

Our Christmas tree fell over in the middle of the night, and Austin came out of bed ready for a fight!  A few of our ornaments fell off but did not break.  Thank goodness!  We ended up losing only one in the tragedy.  It was Austin's clear Pathfinder ornament that was given to him in High School.  I was trying to decide when to take the tree down.  I guess it was decided for me!

Christmas with Austin's Family!

We celebrated Christmas with Austin's family today.  It's easier to celebrate on an "off day" now that we are all getting older and have so many Christmas' to attend.  We headed over to Austin's parents' house in the late afternoon for an awesome dinner (stuffed shells, yum!), hanging out and opening presents.

No Christmas tree this year...just a Christmas table!

Hadley got an awesome toy from Uncle Brad, Aunt Jodie and Cousin Brynn.  It's a ball that rolls around with holes in it.  She loves it and chases it around at home...especially now that she is rolling over more often!

Above are pictures of everyone opening up their presents.  Epic fail for me...I didn't get a picture of Austin opening a present.  Whoops!

Most babies find Uncle Brad very entertaining, and that is also true for Hadley.  She loves it when Uncle Brad plays with her!  Most of the pictures that I have right now of Brynn and Hadley involve Brynn sitting up and Hadley laying down...it will be so fun when they both can walk and play together!

And here is a very cute picture of Brynn playing with her ball.  She's so adorable!

Don't Ask?

Hadley has a new way to watch TV.  Don't ask, because we don't know why!  Hmm...the head rush can't be good, right?

Glessner Christmas at the Farm!

Austin's family always celebrates Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Glessner by having a fun filled day of festivities out at the farm.  The farm used to be owned by Grandma Glessner's parents and is now owned by Austin's parents.  I had to work today, so Austin and Hadley got to enjoy the party without me.

We don't have a lot of pictures of today.  It's probably a little hard to take care of a 4 1/2 month old and take lots of pictures for your wife's blog.  Thank you dear, for the few that you did take!

Here's a picture of Uncle Brad and Cousin Brynn...
Grandpa Mark, Hadley and Aunt Shelby goofing around!
Hadley chillin' out with Grandpa Mark, watching the football game!  Daddy has a big influence on her TV preferences, and I'm afriaid that I'll soon be out numbered on whether or not we watch football!  Ugh!

A peek over Jenny's shoulder as she checks out the photobook that Hadley gave to Grandpa and Grandma Glessner...

Jumperoo!

I had to work today, so Austin sent me a picture of lil' Miss Hadley to help cheer me up!  She looks like she is having such a great time in her new Jumperoo!

Christmas Day - Evening with Mom!

Unfortunately, my mom had to work the mid shift on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but we still managed to find time to celebrate the holidays together!

Hadley got to open her presents first because she is the youngest.  She got the Rainforest Jumperoo from Grandma Joyce!  Yeah, a new activity center that lets her sit upright!

Austin landed a sweet Eddie Bauer gift card.

My present was taped very well!

Zeb got an awesome Jeff Saturday jersey!  Hmm...let's hope he doesn't leave the Colts soon!

Mom got spoiled this year, as Zeb, Austin and I all went together to get her gift.  Hadley decided to go it alone though, and loaded her up on pictures...a photo album of her first 4 months of life and an 8x10 picture.

What a great family Christmas!  It was so nice to see my mom have the money to buy the kind of presents she wanted to this year.  Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Day - Reames Family

We celebrated Christmas day with Austin's Grandpa and Grandma Reames and the rest of his family.  It is always so exciting to head over to Grandma's house.  Some day Hadley will be just as excited!  Plus, it is the best Christmas dinner you will ever eat...I'm quite sure of it!

Grandpa and Grandma Reames opening their gifts...

Kim, Mark and Shelby enjoying Christmas time...

Hadley hanging out with Grandpa Mark!

This is my FAVORITE picture of the day...Hadley looks like she got caught eating something she shouldn't have been eating!  Too funny!!

A family Christmas picture...don't we look great?  Well, other than the fact that Austin's shoulder looks like it's dislocated.  Oh well, we tried!

I managed to catch a picture of cute lil' Brynn!  She's so active that it's quite a challenge to get one where she's actually looking at the camera!  Looking at the camera or not, she's just too stinkin' cute!
And here's one more of Miss Hadley...

Santa was here!

This was the first time that Santa visited Hadley, and he filled her stocking with care!

Hadley's stocking was filled with rice cereal, new burp clothes and an AC/DC shirt to name a few...

Mommy got a new memory card for her camera so that she can record longer videos of Hadley and some yummy Ghirardelli chocolates!

Daddy got some Budweiser BBQ sauce and a candy cane filled with M&M's!

Hadley got a Bumbo from Santa, and the tray that goes along with it!  How could Santa have known that this would be a perfect gift?  Hmm.  Hadley seemed to like it a lot because it allows her to sit up and see her world!

Daddy got a smoker for Christmas from mommy and "The Book of Basketball" from Hadley!
"Austin, baby...forgot to mention one little thing, a ring!"  We call it the baby ring.  It goes along with my engagement, wedding, and honeymoon rings!  It marks yet another huge milestone in our lives.  Hadley got mommy some earrings to go with her new ring and some new gloves and a hat!

What an awesome first Christmas with Hadley!  We have enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to many more Christmas' to come with our sweet baby girl!
