Today was our last day in WV, so we checked out of the hotel and headed out for some lunch. We decided to eat at Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet. Yum!
Hadley has become quite fond of her sunglasses. Last summer I couldn't get her to wear them, and now I can't get her to take them off...literally! She insisted on wearing them in to eat, so I let her. She even wore them up to the buffet. The only thing that made it better was that I kept getting comments on how stinkin' cute she was! I couldn't agree more.
I kept telling her that she was wearing them upside down, but she kept saying "no, no" and putting them back on upside down...the Hadley way!
After lunch, we had to make a quick stop at the MedCheck for my mom because she wasn't feeling well. Hadley and I had a long wait in the waiting room. When we walked through the door, a little boy not much older than Hadley got all excited about her for some reason? He jumped up and tried to hug her but she pushed him away. When he was done seeing the doctor he brought a sticker out for her. She seemed less than impressed and wanted me to stick it on her back...yes, her back, of all places? Oh my sassy little girl!
After mom got all fixed up, we headed back up the creek for a little while before heading home. It was yet another wonderful "3 generation vacation!"
