We traveled to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN for Austin's Homecoming this past weekend. We always have a lot of fun catching up with old friends at Sonka's, eating at First Wok, attending the picnic at the Delta Sigma Phi house and shopping at the bookstore. This year we didn't make it down to the football game, which was okay because it was cold and raining.
When we first got to the house, Hadley quickly made a new friend: Brutus! He's Gary and Becky Lane's dog and she just loved him. We felt comfortable letting her play with him because the Lanes have a little boy named Max who is just a couple of months younger than Hadley, so Brutus is use to babies.
It was cold and raining this year, so everyone hung out on the porch, in the tent and under the trees instead of in the yard.
The fraternity rents a blow up funhouse for the kids...it looks like fun. It will be a few years before Hadley is able to play in it though.
Hadley played nice with Hans for a little while, but then she got super jealous that daddy was holding another baby and tried to push Hans away.
Here are pictures of Hadley on the porch with daddy. The top one was last year's picture and the bottom one is from this year. It's CrAzY how quickly Hadley has grown up!
...and here are pictures of Hadley sporting her Rose-Hulman gear from last year and then this year.
It was a fun weekend and we can't wait to do it again next year!
