I was happy to sit there and labor for love
to give my baby what dreams are made of
to grow and one day be big and strong
knowing in the blink of an eye she’ll be gone.
I dream of her future, an unwritten book
How will she act?
How will she look?
I want for her a myriad of things
not silver or gold or big diamond rings
but love and joy,
health, happiness and laughter
these are the treasures I want for my daughter.
As I sit and I dream, I hold in my heart
the time I spent giving her the best possible start
to give my baby what dreams are made of
to grow and one day be big and strong
knowing in the blink of an eye she’ll be gone.

I finally packed away my things today...two weeks after starting the ending process. It's been a quick and easy finish to a long 6 months and 2 weeks of "laboring for love!" Luckily my extra work will still be around to benefit Hadley for the next 6 months, lasting until her 1st birthday! Ahh, what an accomplishment!
