There's a first for everything...

Tonight was the first night that Hadley slept in her own bed.  She slept for 3 hour periods in between feedings and we were very proud of her! 

What a wonderful Great Grandma!

I took Hadley to meet her Great Grandma Wise at Miller's Merry Manor today.  Great Grandma made her a hat in arts and crafts, and has been anxiously awaiting Hadley's arrival to be able to give it to her!

Hadley lost her umbilical cord today.  Yeah!  Now she can take real baths!  This picture though, is pre-loss.

It's a girl!

We live down a private drive on Sechrist Lake, where all of the neighbors are very close.  Since we recently moved in and everyone was excited about the arrival of our new bundle of joy, we decided to put up banners so that everyone would know that Hadley had finally arrived.

One of my best friend's, Kariann, came down to meet Hadley too.  I think her husband Dustin is afraid of babies, because he refused to hold her.  Boo!

Grandpa tends to spoil his grandchildren, so were going to have to keep a close eye on him!

Hadley got to meet her cousin Julianna for the first time the week after she got home.  Julianna is only 4 months older than Hadley!

Cousin Gabe loves Hadley and calls her "his baby!"

I was so proud to see Uncle Elias hold Hadley.....and do such a good job at it too!

First Doctor's Appointment

Hadley had her first doctor's appointment today with Dr. Pitts at Kosciusko Family Healthcare.  Dr. Pitts was a little busy so we saw the Physician's Assistant, Marcus, instead.

Hadley was not happy to get weighed and measured.  She weighed in at 7 pounds and measured 20.5 inches.

Meeting Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Reames

Austin's grandparents came down from Michigan the day after we got home from the hospital to meet their new great granddaughter.  Grandma made dinner for us...roast beef and rivels, at our request! YUM!

Coming Home!
